All I can manage to do

Is scream out my fears

Music is my souls escape

From all the pain and tears

 

These voices in my head

They tell me how to feel

What to say, things to do

They feel just too real

 

My life has always been based on the truth

No reasons to run and hide

All I feel lay askew in the open

This shall be till the day I die

 

Say what you mean and

Always mean what you say

Did you honestly mean those words to me?

When you told me to go away?

 

There’s one thing in this life that I wish for

That would I could rest my weary soul

Saving lives, just like mine

Taking them from this cesspool

 

Making expectations for relationships

Is ineffective at best

Stay strong, look ahead

Just don’t publicize your success

 

Stop trying to show them

Exactly what they want

My life is dreary due to

My heart’s upcoming cold front

 

Why do you make it appear

As it you know best?

Do you want to be the only one swimming

And drown all the rest?

A solace for my heart

Get a brand new start

 

Deny my help?
