Nursery Rhyme

A Poem by Rachel
"

It is about a shy singer

"

There once was a singer.
She was very shy.

She didn’t like to linger

If people were near by.

Her teacher said lets go.

She stomped her feet and said no.

From far away she yelled “no way”
And her teacher went away.

There once was a singer.
She was very shy.
She didn’t like to linger,
If people were near by.
Walking down the street,
She ran into a creep,
Who asked her to sing a song about his feet.
She cried and yelled no
and begged him to go

So away he went after an hour spent.

There once was a singer.
She was very shy.
She didn’t like to linger,
If people were near by.
                    She went to the park,
                     and heard the dogs bark.
                     The children scream,
                     from eating ice cream.
The ice cream man asked her to sing
and promised her a ring.
She sang the song,
and together they moved along.

There once was a singer.

She used to be shy,
until she met the right guy.

That gave her a ring
and encouraged her to sing.

Now she is full of confidence.
She sings all day,
and the children now play.
