Grown Up

i'm all grown up now

i've been grown up since i was four

and now that i'm twenty-five

i can say 

i don't like being grown up anymore

I loved this..Everyone can relate with this..When we are young we are so eager to grow up and then we realise the harsh reality of life..Though I am just 17 now but I still want to be that four year old kid again...So true..Good read..

kids have to grow up way too fast these days, for various reasons.

this poem reminds me of a saying by comedian steven wright...he said when i turned two i got paranoid because i my age had doubled in a year...i thought, by the time i turn six i'll be ninety...

but yes, if only we can have a bit of an extended childhood...
