A Poem by Audrey Bowers
"

a poem about true beauty

"
I'm not perfect.
I'm nowhere close.
I make mistakes,
but that's the way life goes.
There's ups.
And then there's the downs.
And every once in awhile,
I take a look around.
I see beauty,
but yet I still see imperfections.
A rotten apple ruins the whole bunch?
I'm sorry but I don't think that's correct.
There's beauty in everyone and
there's beauty in everything.
You just have to look
close enough to see.

So true, imperfection is perfection to some degree. Love the lines "A rotten apple ruins the whole bunch I'm sorry but I don't think that's correct."

Thanks for reviewing and those are my favorite lines too.
I love the idea of beauty within imperfection. Great poem. Loved it.
