Eternal Dream

Eternal Dream

A Poem by Rifatt Mir

Let me live in my dream as long as I breathe.
Let me live in this dream as long as I see,
And not see you around.

Or show me some brighter sky,
Blooming Daisies in sunlit meadow,
Green and long.
Lofty garden of supreme bliss,
Happy-without hurt,sorrow,fear or shame.

Two hearts beating in harmony,
In sweet surrender to reverie.
Smitten eyes locked,
Hands sealed,
In the soft knot.

When I run,
It follows me like a shadow,
If I fall,It doesn't run away.
I move too fast,
it doesn't stop chasing until we merge.

Let me live in this dream as long as you don't find me.
Let me rest heavenly in this eternal dream and meet you.
