An Introduction That Took a Little Too Long

I step into the spot light

It’s warm

I could hear the whisper of eager listeners

 

“People,” I call out.

“hear my words.

We don’t have to live like this.

Just hear me out!”

 

“There is so much more

that we could we do.

We are capable of living better.

Just hear me out!”

 

“If we were to stop hating

than we’d be at peace.

War would be a thing of the past.

Just hear me out!”

 

“I want to live a happy life

and I know  you do too!

It’s all totally up to our generation!

Just hear me out!”

 

The spot light went out

And no one was there.
