The Way I Feel

I know I shouldn’t feel this way about her

I know these feelings aren’t natural

But she is so perfect, amazing, so beautiful

Smart, funny, kind-hearted, and so much more

I know I shouldn’t feel this way about her

But these feelings, there new, so chemical

She’s the one for me; I won’t let anyone stop us

We’ll be together, until one of us bites the dust

I know I should feel this way about her

But this is the way I feel

This girl i speak of is also bi, and ive never really liked a girl until now. Today i almost asked her to go out with me, but i go nervous and said will you go... to the mall with me? haha im a fail, but atleast i get to go to the mall with her! C; <3

I love this poem because I could relate to it. I'm also bi. The thing in this poem is when you say " I know I shouldn't feel this way about her " it shows readers our society can sometimes make us feel guilty about our true feelings for someone because society says it's wrong. What makes one feel like they should not like the same sex?

This was an awesome poem and I enjoyed reading it. I hope things work out some day! ..and you are not a fail ! ; )
