Love is gone!

something i wrote.

I sit alone,

Holding my heart in my hand,

Tears fill my eyes,

People questioning me,

My tears soon fall,

One after the other,

More and more spilling out of my eyes,

Rolling down my cheeks,

Landing in my soft fragile hands,

Pain fills my features,

Nothing could help me now,

No one could help me,

A puzzle has lost its piece,

Life feels meaningless,

I feel weak,

You made me weak,

Cause' you are my weakness,

The one that has been eating at me,

It will always be in me,

You are a drug that has finally killed me,

That has ruined my life,

I look around as the happiness I once had faded,

Its gone forever,

My eternity of depression starts now,

It will not end as long as I still have a heart,

As long as I have a soul,

Love is gone for an eternity...

Oh my, this was very sad. Romance poems aren't always going to be happy. This poem brought a beautiful girl crying in the rain to my mind. The tears fall down her cheeks as she walks home through the rain getting soaked. Beautiful write! :)

Great ending seeing as the soul is what keeps us feeling any sense of light. I feel like the middle section was a bit repetitive but the beginnings and ends were flawless.
