My Mind...

My mind is like an endless sea

an endless ocean of ideas just for me

My mind is like a lightning storm

flashing bolts my ideas start to form

My mind is like the shoreline sand

creativity flows through my hand

My mind is like the universe

awaiting my next verse

My mind is like a quiet room

ideas forming, then Boom!

My mind is like an angels wings

I want to strive for greater things

My mind is like a white fluffy cloud

I'd rather write than say aloud

My mind is like a roaring river

my words at times make me shiver

My mind is like a pantry nook

memories of thee written in a book

Usually, I write on my wordpress blog regarding mental health awareness. However, I have wanted to branch out and write poetry, as well as short stories.
