Taken Away

Foolish mistakes.
Childish decisions.
Not thinking, just doing.
Then… you’re taken away.
Taken to the holding cell, and then taken to the County.
Then you stand before the judge, to wait on
His decision for what is going to happen to you.
Aren’t you tired of the same thing happening to you every couple of months or so?
It’s 2011 and this is how the New Year must start?
But you keep getting Taken Away. Taken away from your family.
When is it going to snap in your head that the life on the streets is not for you? When will you learn that being outside with the young adults isn’t where you should be?
If you do not come to your senses soon you will be taken away again. And you may have to stay for a long while. I pray for you and I hope you come back home this time, and stay. I hope that the judge lets you go for telling the truth, but there’s no saying what’s going to happen, happen now, happen later, or in the future if you do not change your ways.
