Blue Lagoons

Blue Lagoons

A Poem by Reagan

You captivated me with your eyes
Deep blue lagoons like the abyss
I drowned my sorrows in the pools
Sparkling and reflective
You concealed my fate with one glance
Leaving me stranded in unknown waters
Hopeless
I grasped for a life line
No one saw my struggle
So I learned to swim
