"Contact"

This is about the woman; in the Bible, who had the issue of blood for 12 years. She was healed by a Touch. Believe me; I am her and she is me.....

        "I've crossed the landscape; hoping,
            I could find my life, it seems.
          Cut my heart wide open,
           on the pieces of my lost dreams.
          This mark of degradation;
           stigmata of shame,
           social alienation,
           adds to all my pain.

          My issue is one of blood,
           it will not go away.
          I heard of a Man with a special touch,
           I came from so far today.
          I'll crawl unobtrusively;
           like a kitten, through a cloud.
          His sandals I can barely see,
            through the haze of this crowd.

          I think I can see His garment,
           I think I can see His face.
          My skin can feel such warmth from Him,
           His Presence feels like grace.
          Timidly I reach TO grasp
           the hem of his clothes.
          Suddenly; He turns to ask,
           "Who has touched my robe?"

          My body has become a flame;
           He healed me with His art.
          But even before He knew my name,
           His Love has touched my heart.

The way you capture this image does true justice to the passage you describe. This is beautifully depicted and the way you relate with this woman radiates from this piece. Amazingly inspirational
