My Inspiration

My Inspiration

A Poem by Realyfe
"

Just a thought

"

It seems as though I’ve lost my inspiration:

For all conversation comes with hesitation,

But, why is time wasting, when I know my motivation?

No situation or confrontation-

Can stop me from the destiny that I am facing,

From the goal I am closer to embracing;

A victory well worth tasting-

(Especially after the agony of defeat)

For, sadness is usually discreet,

But it will help with the hastening-

(The rush that you feel when your goal becomes more real)

That anticipation-

That mental stimulation

(Almost a mental masturbation)

That preparation-

Dreaming of the real thing,

The joy & pain that it brings;

As you allow yourself to swing-

Freely inspired to just be “me”

To see me & only me-

For what I truly be,

Both to me & to the nation:

When your head is pounding-

Your heart is racing-

How could I let this pass without consternation?

Perhaps a momentary misplacing,

Due to the circumstances that I am facing;

Yet, they push me more towards such situations,

Or maybe my muse is just being patient;

Waiting for me to explore my own mental basement

Or, maybe I need to replace it,

And get back to my emphatuation;

This is a love affair! Words are my liberation!

 They deserve all of my consideration!

Okay, okay, okay, maybe I haven’t lost my inspiration.
