Steal You Away

Steal You Away

A Poem by Beaner166

Come with me.
Take my hand.
I'll lead you away.

To show you what could have been.
What we could be.
If only for moments at a time.

Let our past interrupt the present.
Pause our lives.
Run away with me.

Be mine as I am yours,
Even for a short time.
Let me feel your embrace once more.

Give him your life.
Call him yours.
All I ask is moments.

Moments to be what should have been.
Possibilities we should have become.
With love we both shared.

I don't expect your everything,
All I ask is a taste.
Please just let me,

Steal You Away
