Why

Why

A Poem by Matthew
"

Have you ever wondered why?

"
Her lips remove the meaning
Her hips confer my feelings
Her life reserves all treating

My eyes met hers
Emotion came forth
Tonight I want to die, tonight I want to find

Say goodbye my friend, stay to die again
Shameless thoughts, against the knot, tonight I want to die
Helpless seems, against the dreams, tonight I want to fly

Her hands met mine again
Her life become open wide
Her sanity slowly fades

My fingers found hers today
They were sitting on display
In a noose, we all shake loose, tonight I want to die

Say goodbye my friend, stay to die again
Shameless thoughts, against the knot, tonight I want to die
Helpless dreams, within a friend, tonight I fly again

Flying...
Flying...
Have you ever wanted to fly?

Dying...
Dying...
Have you ever wanted to die?

Don’t ever try to cry
Don’t ever try to cry
Don’t ever try to cry unless you’ve left your thoughts on the weightless sky

Have you ever wanted to try?
Have you ever tried to die?
Have you ever wanted to fly?

Don’t ever try to die
Don’t ever try to die
Never try to die unless you’ve felt your soul cross the other side

Don’t ever wonder why
Don’t ever wonder why
Unless you say goodbye

Say goodbye my friend, stay to die again
shameless thoughts, against the knot, tonight I want to die
Helpless dreams, help my friend, tonight I’ll wonder why
