Talking S**t

Talking S**t

A Poem by Matthew
"

Life moves on a never ending cycle of communication, but sometimes that communication, isn't always nice.

"
Down you lay on the grass by the groove
There you lay thinking and waiting for a reason to move
Helping yourself to your thoughts you wonder about all the things to do

Sitting lazy on the same old hill with your friends, you start to feel hazy
Laughing and waiting for the same old people to go by
Maybe we don’t understand all of the questions... because all we do is talk s**t, while we get high

Maybe you question all the thoughts that flow through your mind
Possibly retaining all the times that you were wrong
You can’t know for sure all the ways through the vine

Sitting lazy on the same old field with your friends, you start to feel hazy
Laughing and hating all the people that go by
Maybe you don’t know all the answer... because all we do is talk s**t, while we try to get by

Asking for destinations while the plans are on the move
Draining and failing as the ideas all fall through
Crazy and in vain we all do nothing as the moments fly true

Sitting lazy on the same old mountain with your friends, you start to feel hazy
Laughing and facing all the nameless bodies as they go by
Maybe you don’t know my name and that’s just fine
Maybe you can’t put a finger on the reason that is mine
Maybe we all talk s**t as you go by
Maybe we all talk s**t as life complies
