Where we were, who I was

Where we were, who I was

A Story by Azalea Rose

Nothing ever comes without a change. The way I felt is compared to a moment that doesn't exist now, but at one point it existed. If it no longer exists except within our heads, is it then a part of our imagination? If it is a shared memory then is it a shared imaginative word that we've read and agreed upon its existence? My goals and aspirations were  a momentary thought, now gone and lost in a moment in time that if it were to return, wouldn't be the same due to a vast amount of new experiences and a change in personality as a result. Coming across a different ever-changing body of matter after a year of exchanging texts, is this the same woman that I saw last year? Who is this beautiful body of seasons. Winter is gone and Spring has wandered past, why does this summer consist of different temperatures? This seventy-three degrees Fahrenheit feels like thirteen with how she's acting towards me...
Why are you so cold, Summer? Are you the same person I thought you were?
