I Cry

This poem was inspired by rapper Tupac Shakur, he inspires me all the time.

Just a teenager living on my phone
Mother left me I'm all alone
Thinking anything could get worse
I cry...

I get on the bus, friends see me smile
But that's only for a while
I keep it all in and truly inside
I cry...

Home at last! I can finally get some peace
Here comes war I have nothing to release
Asking God when I'll finally win
I cry...

Nobody understands what's going on with me
So I hide under the blankets, away from reality
Just little me in my fantasy world
I cry...
