A Fucked Up "I Miss You"

A Fucked Up "I Miss You"

A Poem by Rebecca Hope Rouston

Her body's cold and her teeth are clenched

So long as there's a pulse because there's nothing left

She lets them in and they f**k her around

And moaning their name rings as an improper sound

Her stomach hurts and your tears she cries

But guilt fills the body she gave away many times

She whispers to him and wears your ring

And f***s to the songs she loved to hear you sing

Her voice is hoarse from yelling and screaming

And her life no longer seems to have any meaning

She's thrown off her stand and just falls

And again surrounds herself with the strongest of walls

Her face contains black stained ice eyes

Pitiful, when her whole life is self inflicted with lies

There's nothing I can do to make you stay

So can you please find it in your heart to make this go away...?

Powerful words - even though I wasn't sure what you were going for, I liked this. Well done.
