Dear God.

Dear God.

A Poem by Rebecca Hope Rouston

dear god,

sometimes i doubt your logic and embrace

he's left afflictions that even you can't erase

do you think it's funny that i feel the ways i do

was it your sole intension to have me fall for him, too

when you were thinking of girls to create

you meant to put my heart in the higher place

i realize you have better things to do than protect me

but if he was blind, would you even help him see

god, you decided i'd be challenged with loss

and you're pushing me to see what it will cause

i hope you're laughing hard from where you sit

because i can't see you and that is about it

i've felt you before and you made me believe

please don't give up, god, don't ever leave

just listen to one thing that needs to be said

i need you to get him out of my head...

damn now that is a challenge to God... you spoke with the brutal honest truth... that is the only way to do it cause you can't fool God anyways... when bad things do happen to us we always question him first... but the one thing God gave us was freewill and yes it would be nice of him to fix what others do to us but in the end then we don't learn from our mistakes or appreciate when something better comes along.
I certainly enjoyed you style hear, straight up raw and powerful.
