A Poem by Redolent Quill

A delicate ray descends

Unuttered on a dew-pearl

And in her grace, renders

Curved hues, in a rainbow swirl

Beneath, a tender petal shivers

The floret smiles, redolent

Morning beams in assent

Withering away

With the fading evening

Does not sway

The flower from blooming

Amidst the beading

Of magical stars

Growing, diminishing

Witnessing our wars

The moon returns

To the carousal

Of the sea’s fingers

And when were we

If it ever be

Quoted a price

For her nightly rise

Miracles aren’t in guise

Unseeing eyes, rise

The world was always yours

Open your heart’s doors

Here's the treasure trove

Be here … belong to love
