A Happy Ending

A Happy Ending

A Poem by Stephanie
"

I feel okay.

"
My feet are calloused and bleeding
I’ve danced into a field of skulls where love is fleeting
While others have taken an offensive stance
I’ll keep dancing and take a chance
I would happily dance with you
But otherwise, alone will do

"I'm giving it my all
But I'm not the guy you're taking home!
ooooooooh!
I keep dancing on my own!"

- lol! I couldn't help but sing that when I got to the end. This is short, sweet, and I daresay snappy, with juicy lines most evidently in Lines 2 and 6. Well done! Much enjoyed.
