Inspir'd (Part 1)

Inspir’d (Part 1)*
Your eyes,
brown with life’s excitements,
smilingly penetrate mine
and I see a poem,
softly written in italic lavender.
My eyes,
blue with allur’d alliteration
are set ablaze
with this thought;
“dance me to the end of love.”
~~redzone
* Note: This is a 2 part poem that came about
from reading a poem here at WC and also
from the song, “Dance Me To The End Of Love”.
This is a L. Cohen song, sung by Madeleine Peyroux.

Well the first thing I did upon reading this was check to see if Frieda has seen it yet, and she has so I'll move on to my sentiments haha Italic lavender is awesome, I love that part, as I do all the lines in this one. You've said much in a short piece, and left a lot of room for imagination in the process. One can never have enough allur’d alliteration, especially when it's blue, being my favourite colour and all haha Well done my friend :)
