...flying without a safety net..

PHILOSOPHICALS

Light dances on the horizon
of human dreams
and possibilities.
Yet for some, they envision
only the flamboyance
of sand castles.
They expouse this
or that -
philosphicals
of other worldly profundities
of the lint they find
while contemplating their
solitary navels.
Meanwhile,
the earth crumbles
and monsters advance.

Stop this windy nonsense.
We humans are capable
of so much more than this!

but humanity can soar beyond the horizons!"*
I want to fly!!

Curt, every time I read you, I realize what a keen insight you have into the human condition. There is no lint in a navel that could say more than the contemplation of your words. Birds fly over the rainbow and so do your wonderful thoughts. When you wax philosophical, you are level headed and reasonable.....and you make me think of all the possibilities so often overlooked in life.
