"Silence"

In need of spiritual growth.

I don't even allow my mind to vent.

I use many methods to push away my thoughts.

The most common one is music.

Since I was in fifth grade I've used music to not face my problems.

God has been calling for me to be in silence.

In stillness.

So I can discern the thoughts in my mind.

Which is Him speaking to me.

Which are mine.

And which are the demons whispering lies and negative emotions.

So I may learn to control my thoughts.

And what will proceed out of my mouth.

I have a feeling this will be a long process.

But I must do my best to trust Him and listen.
