All In Readiness

All In Readiness

A Poem by reluctantsyren
"

run on

"

The Child standing next to me
As cute as can be
She is flirting with me and
Entertaining me or,
as you please -
she must have heard that
she's a ham, and plays it up,
It's part of her charm,
The mop of her curl,
Twisty

Red and pink
Tulips
The Color of
Spring time. blooming here
in rainy Ohio.
Grass growing in so green.
The clouds hanging over gray.
Leaves start to form.
Trees bending in support, ready.

I wasn't ready to get the perfect shot - a camera! -
The deer in our front yard,
Nibbling springs' tulips, you could say he was
Entertainment, too. This young buck, so brave!
His horns just growing in; ready.
