YOU

YOU make everything so easy. No pretending or faking, everything I need to know is written all over your face. YOU are serious, but the most chill, laid-back guy I have ever met. When YOU smile, my heart pounds to the point where I'm scared YOU can hear it.  When YOU look at me that way, cancer is cured, world hunger is a thing of the past, and we're the only two people in the entire world. YOU will never know the effect that YOU have on me because YOU are happily taken by another. I won't try anything because I respect YOU and know that YOU deserve to be happy. But I can be selfish in my thoughts and can pray for the day where I can be all that she is to YOU. Embrace YOU, touch YOU, call YOU mine. Until that day I will stand in the background and be happy for the friendship that we have. For I would rather go through these emotions and try to get rid of them then lose YOU because I am selfish. I will be happy for YOU no matter who YOU are with, even if it can't be ME.
