In Silence

In Silence

A Poem by revenant21

Nothingness

Swirls around

Silence

Penetrates her ears

Silent screams

Echo inside her

Head

Everything is there

Inside her silence

There is nothing

With her

Inside her silence

She is shunned

Inside her silence

Tortured wails echo

In her silence

She cries silently in

A corner

Where has all sound gone

And when will it be back?

An endless room

Crammed with a small bed

Dark walls

Shine brightly

The room enclosed

In a sea of white

There is no one there

For her

In the Silence

Yes i did realize that at some parts I contradicted what i said. "An endless room, crammed with a small bed." I'm not that stupid....

kinda made me feel claustrophobic. Not sure why but the poem just makes me feel like im in somewhere really small. And naturally i turned the music up really loud to remind me that it was still there :) Nice job

I like how you contradicted yourself. It made you think about what you had said earlier and make you think about your point of view on the poem. I wish I could write as well as you can hun! I love you
