Lost Humanity Call

Lost Humanity Call

A Poem by reyshemvirk
"

I am dedicating this poem to all the families, specially mothers who lost their children/child. Women who lost there husbands, Children who lost their mothers, Men who lost their wives.

"
A morning like every morning,
Plannings like a normal day,
Promises like all before,
Hope like I am sure,
Left houses for a happy day,
But..
Celebrations started bleeding,
Children started pleading,
And..
The whole nation froze,
Like the funeral of humanity has rose,
Coffins too small,
Darkness spread before the sun could fall,

The morning,
Pleasant morning,
Ended up mourning,
And seemed like
It was
For those who could hear
"THE LOST HUMANITY CALL"

I love this line the most
"The morning,
Pleasant morning,
Ended up mourning,"
It is very haunting and sad, yet you describe the loss and pain well. It's so horrible that in one moment, normalcy can turn into such pain and chaos. My heart goes out to all those innocent victims and their families. Thanks for writing.

The line, "Coffins too small" fueled the impact to really drive this one home. Very nice.

Its difficult anytime a life is taken, especially when children's lives are taken. It's horrible when parents but they're children. A very moving and emotional poem you've penned.

As a Muslim, Patriot, Women and above all Human, I can relate to the pain I have tried to explain.
