mason jar

mason jar

A Poem by Reagan Miranda

Do you ever feel
Like your life is a jar
A beautiful
One of a kind jar
That you carry with you
Wherever you go
To work or school
The library and cafeteria
Every time you feel down
Because some one said something
Or did something for no reason
A pebble is placed in the jar
Do you ever feel
The jar get heavy
And uncomfortable to carry
Full of pebbles
Hen some one bumps into you
You trip and let it fly out of your hands
It falls to the ground
And shatters
You pick up the pieces
Cutting your hands
Because you're distracted
By the sound of laughter
You heal
And fix the jar
Its stronger now
But will never be the same
Do you ever feel like that?
I sometimes do.
