A peom dedicated to my Hero, my grandfather,

 

I Thank God For Thee

 

 

Years passed, days went by, life changed, memories stayed!

Life turned blurry, my future unclear…

Was that truly me, or what others wanted me to be?

I failed, I fell, I cried, I lost… it was then the end of what they called ME!!

No more dreams, no more hopes, no more confidence,

Not until YOU flew with you angelic wings and saved me by your everlasting love.

You re-incarnated my confidence,

You re-planted my smile,

You gave me a second chance to fix what others have destroyed in ME!

Oh! I thank God for thee, for it is because of you that I am ME!!
