Lost in deep shadows

Veiled by ocean

Home of singing spirits

Who died innocent

Once so majestic

Once so huge

Like it ruled the seas

Now, lifeless

Death 

On her maiden voyage

A tragic end 

Of a life not yet begun

Sits at the bottom of the ocean

Silent, and helpless

Once, so flamboyant

Once, so beautiful

I wrote this one on the 'Titanic'. I know, I know.. it doesn't rhyme, but please, tell me how it is? Please?

Poems don't have to rhyme, Rhea. My english teacher says that rhyming poems are easier to do than non- rhyming ones. I find non- rhyming poems beautiful and you have done it perfectly. So mystical and magical! Truly amazing. You should be proud of this and yourself. Carry on like this and yo could go far!

So many grear adjectives and i know read it out loud, no rhyming definite not that kind of flow but either it wsd nicely stste of the great but tragic events of the titanic. well done.

Titanic is one of my favourite movies and after reading your poem all those memories are renewed. Nicely written!
By the way, poem need not rhyme. Sometimes, rhyming binds our imagination. Write the way you are comfortable.
