I am a lover not a fighter
A kisser not a biter
I am your one true friend
The one who will be with you until the end
I am the one that makes you whole
My love will penetrate even the darkest soul
I am the one that makes you smile
And helps you walk the extra mile
I am the one who will always be true
Because all I want is to be with you
I am the one no matter how high the tide
Will always be right by your side
I am the one with the heart of gold
I will be your best friend even as we grow old
So who am I that does all this?
I am the American Pit Bull Terrier!

What a beautiful and right on poem. I have an American Pit bull Terrier, she is 11 and she is my whole world. I couldn't ask for a better dog. She is the most sweetest, loving, funny girl. Beautifully written!
