Earth Of Life

Earth Of Life

A Poem by Antonio Valentino

In the soot of dreams
you awoke

And, I kissed you

As I knelt upon a star
and held you,
from afar

Clinging onto opened
doors you called my name
as you floated down
waterfalls of frozen flames

but, my eyes wouldn’t yell
and my heart wouldn’t swell
and still somehow
to you,

I came

Like jagged waves
splitting bone
on the lost bank
you, the spot of leopards
and, sharp hair of night
fall through me
high in the cellar of
granite windows
looking out, at the
cold fire of heart
you, beside me,
inside me,
are
my wind of truth

You, are,

my earth of life

Super mix of topsy turvy metaphors. This must be a passionate Love in the highest. Only the one who makes us cry and rage the deepest is the one we can love the most...I love the fire of dreams symbols well well done!
