StruggleA Poem by Rishabh ShawI wonder any description to this poem will ever be complete without hers.I've seen you before, I've watched you for long. But never in my stalking did my heart trembled as I watched you walk atop. Sombre was my rhythm melting, when you swayed those swirls, those pretty black locks Sitting like the authoritarian then, now my audacity got shot. I said I will throw a word in caution later. Because I feared i might over bled with love If I struggled with your elegance a lil more, a lil too long, - Too much for a pause I supposed Coz even sitting a few metres in close felt like two islands thousand miles apart Enough for the torture I mumbled I rose to the Rose finally Daring the attempt I was waiting impatiently 'Greetings miss' She stretched her smile for me Struggling as it seemed to be disappointment of the night vividly reflecting But of all the details I could remember Be her exquisiteness or her gracious smile I could never tell her overwhelming tears or her 'just let me go' moistened eyes. But then again heaviness in the heart apart Like the bloom of the cherries in the snowy sunshine I came there only for her blossoming smile. I broke in 'howdy', thinking I'd bring a lil life to that boring night And then there she was worn in Black upon her porcelain skin. Glistening, Her honey deep eyes mascara adorned in gentle touch, Her Cheeks in rapture saying just too much, To Where the lips held the gloss that even dews felt shy In the attire no less like she's telling, 'I'm princess Sunshine'. In awe, love-struck, struggling He sank again into that bottomless hive... © 2016 Rishabh Shaw |
