A simple plea

I have an aching heart and tender bones,
Please drive away the pain.
Hold me close and hold me tight,
Don't let me fall again.

Hold me like you've never held me
In your life before;
Take me where the sound of sadness
Can't be heard anymore.

Tonight I cannot sleep alone,
The fear of failure is haunting me;
Please let step me into your heart
Please grant me some serenity.

First and foremost, such a wonderful poem albeit sad. Nevertheless, strong writing, and the poem itself was gripping and tear-jerking, and bespeaks of a person who is broken and sad but trying despite the pain and anguish to believe and hope again. Very endearing and powerful poem. It was a time well spent. Keep them coming!
