The Gatherer of Wisdom: An Honest Translation of the Book of Ecclesiastes

This translation is not for those who are comfortable and complacent. It is not for those who are good and religious and pious. It is a translation for the rest of us " the people who live with ambiguity, who often feel beaten and oppressed by life and by others. It is certainly not a translation for the up-and-in who will most certainly find offense in its pages. It is a translation for the down-and-out, the honest seeker, the one who is not so certain, the one who knows that doubt is not the absence of faith, but the space in which faith can grow. It is a gritty and vulgar translation for the great unwashed who are often told that they are unworthy and unimportant. this translation will shock some and offend others, but those who can put aside their delicate natures and hear the Spirit speaking to them in a manner that is equivalent to how the Spirit was speaking to the author, may just experience God in a new and dynamic way.
