Rain Drops From Heaven

Rain Drops From Heaven

A Poem by Reggie

Dark clouds hover over the sky,

A storm is on the brinks.

The wind slowly picks up,

You can almost smell the rain.

Little drops of water,

Fall from heaven above.

Each getting more dense then the last,

As a pour starts to break out.

The dirt on the road,

Is finally washed away.

The water sinks into the soil,

All the plants hunger no more.

The rain slows down,

And the sun peeks out.

It is finally over,

There's satisfaction without a doubt.

Wow, I guess my last comments did some good. (JOkE) You do know how to use free verse and you are good at it. I could sense it when I was reviewing your last poem. This is so way over the top. Keep it up.
