Face With Many Colors

Face With Many Colors

A Poem by Robin

In the recesses of her heart a storms a brewing
The sea is churning ready to break free

In the recesses of her heart a storms a brewing
raging from deep inside thee

In the recesses of her heart a storms a brewing
Painting her face with colors she can't hide

She paints her face with many colors
Depicting words unspoken
Deep reds and blues and greens
A mixture of deep thoughts and unfulfilled dreams

Her colors are plenty; running together unending
She turns from here to there, no place to go
Can't hide from her many colors

She paints her face with many colors
Sure to show only what others want to see
So determined, so sure behind your many colors
It's only a facade that can never be

Her colors are plenty; running together unending
She turns from here to there, no place to go
Can't hide from her many colors

Her memories bring rage
Her hopes despair
Colors running together, so many colors

In the recesses of her heart a storms a brewing
Painting her face with colors she can't hide
We've called your name
Many advices have been told
Will you listen or hide behind your face of many colors.
