Near Sixteen

Near Sixteen

A Poem by Rob Taylor

Do you reach out in your sleep

To touch the faces of your dreams

Are they near or far away

Are they really what they seem

Are those faces young or old

Are they faces you have known

Or are they faces only seen

As you sleep and as you dream

Do you dream of yesterdays

Do dreams bring back memories

Do you dream of fun and play

Are dreams real or make beleive

Do you reach out in your sleep

To touch dreams of yesterday

Are they near or far away

Are dreams really ment to be

So dream each night away in sleep

Make a fairy tale seem real

Be Prince or Princess in your dreams

In your dreams just be fifteen
