HIDING

HIDING

A Poem by Rob Taylor

I think tomorrow always hides,

Just beyond the distant sun.

Then every night as we lye in sleep,

Day slips in behind our dreams.

Then as we slowly awake,

We open wide are sleeping eyes.

So we can watch today arrive,

Just beyond far Mountain Tops.

Tomorrow will arrive as it always does,

While today passes into yesterday.

Yesterday passes on into our sleep,

Forever to become just memory.
