Face It, Defeat It, Survive It

Face It, Defeat It, Survive It

A Poem by Rogie-Dodge

You cannot have courage
Until you face fear

You cannot have confidence
Until you defeat doubt

You cannot have happiness
Until you survive sorrow

I can't believe that I am the first to review this! And after so many views too. Damn. These three truths that you have given us are so extremely relative to everyone.

"You cannot have courage
Until you face fear"

This is undoubtedly true. Complacency is married to fear and courage is their vibrant marriage counselor.

"You cannot have confidence
Until you defeat doubt"

Again, embedded truth. Doubt is a disease that enters our minds. Once we understand that we CAN, then confidence becomes the dominant voice in our heads.

"You cannot have happiness
Until you survive sorrow"

Now these lines hit me in the gut because I am a living example of its truth. I won't go into details, but the reality of this statement haunts me. Well done, dear.
