My stomach squishes food

I'm just a bunch of squishers

In a squishy bag of skin.

I hope the squishers stay inside

And no more get let in.

My liver squishes bile

Author's Note

Just a bit of fun.
I particularly like the last little verse (which I was thinking could just be its own little poem, but then it doesn't makes as much sense without the first part)
There is a little bit of philosophical background, of course, that with all these squishy bits inside my skin sack ... where and what and who am I ??

the first thing that popped into my head was "they call me mr. tibbs" sidney potier movie... 'heat of the night'.. i kind of pictured barney the dinosaur singing the first part of this...but the last part... was all uncharted territory ... loved the whole thing .. different from most that I read on this site and like it for a bunch of different reasons :)

I love the word 'squishy'. And the idea of squishy squishers. Very "Finding nemo". Its such a lovely little onomatopoeia.
