Confessions Of A Self Sacrificial Lamb

Confessions Of A Self Sacrificial Lamb

A poem about my inner me.

Confessions Of A Self Sacrificial Lamb

From an empty sky falls the lonely rain

Each drop is just a speckle of my pain

I feel like a lilliputian in my own dark world

Within my self abasement I am tightly curled

Daggers of mediocrity plunged into my soul

While others attain their own self righteous goal

Others think they see me but I never reveal

Hidden scars that will never heal

This feels like the lowest point in your life.
Others think they see me but i never reveal.
That works both ways. Nobody really knows how anybody's feeling. You built a life before. You'll do it again.
