Alone In ATree

Alone In ATree

A Poem by Rogerh

Alone In A Tree

Jane has gone to live in the city of lights

She got tired of my dreaming and jungle nights

Now Tarzan has gone and become citified

It is just me alone here and terrified

Swinging like I am Nkima from vine to vine

I carelessly swing through the jungle of time

When the end finally approaches it will just be me

No Jane and no Tarzan, just Nkima alone in a tree
