A fake sunday

A fake sunday

A Poem by lettuce

Dogs, kids, ladies with dresses

People of all ages, free of their usual stresses

Hats, umbrellas, suits and canes

Fashion accessories as the weekly tension wanes

Sails, ships on a lake or a river

The ripples under boats shake as they quiver

Water, plants, roses and a hill

Monkeys run freely as they enjoy the tame thrill

A cloud, a sky, a view, sunlight

The folks smite the difference between now and night

Puppy, dirt, hair and grass

A woman who preens has a sham, ample a*s

Can you spot her?

I enjoyed it, though I don't know exactly where we are set. That's not your fault, so do not worry. The rhyme scheme is simple and easily accepted. I like that username of yours too. Overall good short poem. Goodbye. Ps- the question at the end is a great touch!
