Amazing Grace how sweet the sound,

how sweet is your heart that beats and full of joy.

 

Could ones eyes not see how sweet you are?

Would it be blind to your heart and all it holds?

 

Is it not your grace that shines so bright,

was it not you who saved all that I am?

 

Let the world hear your song, the one that makes me whole and fills my soul.

You have raised my spirit, I shall hold you in loving’s grace and cherish you all my days.

 

You have shined your light on the darkest corners of my life.

I stand on the mountains...because of your heart.

This is beautiful from start to finish. A lovely write. A question which I am unclear, in writes like these when a song is so well known, is it necessary to give credit or put anything in quotes? I might be tempted to ask someone like Lydi or Jacob
