Toxic kiss, poisoned lipsA Poem by Uhmanduh HughesThis is a short, creative metaphor piece. It's about death and the paranormal.
A kaleidoscope of endless color
Endless pain- Shards of sharp confetti fall They shatter- And kiss the poisoned lips away Chaos outlines such sweet silence As suffering lips quiver Fading out to disappear In a bottomless crimson river A breath to exhale the toxic fumes Already in your veins- No escaping crystal-like crypts Marble tombs- Lips kissing and broken decay With forgotten stories to unfold A kaleidoscope of endless... Skeleton bones, a puzzle to be made Fairytales to be told And kiss the poisoned lips away © 2017 Uhmanduh HughesAuthor's Note
