I have legs but I can not use them

I have a book of poetry i have had sense I was 12 but i am starting from teh poem from when i was 12 and working my wy up

There is a time in life when we need to stand on our own two feet to prove to ourselves we have it in us.
I recall that at about 11 or 12 years old i told my mother that she not worry about me, that i was capable of taking care of myself. Great poem! Thank You for sharing!
