My ocean

This poem is about never losing your feelings for someone.

My heart is like and ocean.

My feelings are like the water,

They never disappear,

Only move

 

They fall deeper down.

But as the water is thrown from side to side,

They rise

 

They are thrown against the shore with intensity.

But as the water is thrown from side to side,

They slowly slide from the shore

And fall into the ocean that is my heart

 

But the water is not lost.

It waits as it builds strength,

So that one day when it resurfaces

It can hit the shore once more,

But this time to make a lake upon the land

 

Until than it sits and waits.

Sits, waits, and rises with strength slowly,

Because true water is never lost,

It only moves.

Just like the feelings in my heart.
